POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Media & Content Manager serves as the central hub for content creation, media management, and editorial oversight across AISC's communications ecosystem. This role combines content strategy with hands-on production to ensure high-quality, engaging materials that support the school's storytelling and communication objectives.

The manager oversees media galleries, content creation workflows, and editorial processes while supporting photo and video production initiatives. This role directly impacts content quality, media organization, and the effectiveness of AISC's communications across all channels.

Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

 

 

      • Develop content aligned with communications and content strategies
      • Serve as copy editor and proofreader for all school communications
      • Create compelling written content for diverse audiences and platforms
      • Coordinate content/conversational calendars and editorial schedules for Social Media, internal & external Bulletins, Website, and all channels where AISC has a presence. 
      • Establish editorial calendars and maintain consistent publishing schedules
      • Supports the content creation for relaunching the AISC website
      • Ensure content quality and consistency across platforms and materials
      • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technical and educational content
      • Ensure brand vocabulary, voice and tone are consistent across channels. 

 

 

      • Manage comprehensive media galleries and asset libraries
      • Coordinate photo and video editing projects with internal and external teams
      • Develop content creation handbooks and storage, and archival policies
      • Oversee media storage, organization, and accessibility systems
      • Support on-field photo and video capture initiatives
      • Leads Media Google Drive implementation
      • Create and Maintain media naming conventions, archive and retrieval systems
      • Maintain archival systems for historical content and media

 

 

    • Provide copy editing and proofreading services for all school communications
    • Develop style guides and editorial standards
    • Train staff on content creation best practices
    • Implement quality control processes for all published materials
    • Ensure compliance with accessibility and inclusion standards
    • Support video and photo editing workflows
    • Coordinate with photographers and videographers
    • Manage content production timelines and deliverables
    • Ensure brand compliance in all content creation
